Senegal’s boss says that Abdallah Sima of the Rangers is injured.
The Brighton winger has yet to kick a ball in the African Cup of Nations due to injury.
Rangers star Abdallah Sima has sustained a hip injury at the African Cup of Nations.
The Brighton winger has been a revelation at Ibrox since arriving on a season-long loan, notching 15 goals for the Light Blues already. However, the 22-year-old is currently unavailable for Philippe Clement as he competes in the AFCON with Senegal. His tournament, though, hasn’t quite gone to plan despite his country winning their first two games and securing qualification for the next round.
Sima was left out of the matchday squad against Cameroon and was not included in the lineup against Gambia, hence he hasn’t kicked a ball in the competition. Furthermore, international manager Aliou Cisse clarified that the attacker’s ailment is the reason for his lack of playing time.
