Rangers are ready to loan out their starlet, and a club is showing interest.
According to the Daily Record, Rangers are ready to allow promising young player Arron Lyall go on loan this month despite Airdrieonians’ attempts to get him.
The midfielder is highly regarded by the Ibrox club, but they feel that in order for him to grow, he must play regularly for the first team in a competitive setting.
Although Lyall is not short of interest, Gers manager Philippe Clement is delighted that the player is leaving on a temporary basis this month.
At present it is Scottish Championship side Airdrie who are looking to push a loan deal over the line.
The club are due to take on St Johnstone in the Scottish Cup this weekend and had been eyeing having Lyall for that fixture.
Kanayo Megwa was recently released by Airdrie after being called back by Scottish Premiership team Hibernian from his loan period.
Lyall had previously been on loan from Rangers, spending time with Inverness Caledonian Thistle in the Highlands.
The midfield player at Rangers is keen to get his teeth cut because he has advanced through the development system.
