Micah Parsons Blasts ‘Narrative’ About The Cowboys
This previous week, the Dallas Cowboys’ 2023 season came to an abrupt end when the Green Bay Packers outscored them and won.
Following that loss, there have been a lot of unanswered issues regarding the Cowboys, including doubts about quarterback Dak Prescott, head coach Mike McCarthy, and the defence as a whole.
However, Micah Parsons, the great edge rusher for the Cowboys, isn’t having any of those conversations and stated on social media that he wants to destroy the “narrative” around Dallas’ defeat.
Parsons wrote, “You’re going to fit whatever narrative you want about Sunday.” “I’m going to stop sending faxes shortly! Illusion versus actuality
Up until this game, the Cowboys were among the best teams in the NFL.
Between Prescott’s MVP-caliber season and the defense showings, Dallas went toe-to-toe with the best in the league – although they were worse away from home.
It’s unclear exactly what went wrong in the Packers’ game, but the defense gave up multiple early touchdown drives and Prescott through two first-half interceptions – one of which was returned for a touchdown.
The Cowboys will probably see some changes in the near future, even though McCarthy seems to have survived another early postseason exit.
Given that Parsons will shortly be eligible for a significant contract extension, he too will be a major question mark.
Although he has always had one of the loudest off-field voices, following the team’s unexpected loss to the Packers, there seems to be a little more emotion behind it.
