Paul Brown shares what he has heard about new Everton charge.

Paul Brown has demanded criticism of the Everton management team, arguing that another point deduction for the team would be extremely damaging. The former Express journalist continued by asserting that there is still a long way to go in the process and that the new complaint against Everton would not be as straightforward as the previous one.

Although supporters have fiercely demonstrated against the Premier League since the initial point deduction was announced, the owners have so far escaped the fans’ fury, but things could soon change.

Brown stated, “I don’t think from what I hear this would be as clear-cut a case as the previous one,” in an interview with GIVEMESPORT on January 16.

“So, I think there is a long way to go yet on this before Everton are hit with another points deduction, but if that is the case, I think it would be incredibly damning on the people running the club and they should rightly be criticized for it.”

It’s very reasonable that Brown wants to direct his ire not at the Premier League but at the people who put them in this predicament. At Goodison Park, protests against the board have not been unusual; nevertheless, since the verdict, their ire has been directed toward Richard Masters.

Moshiri and the board’s disregard for their expenditures put Everton in this predicament in the first place, regardless of your opinion of the Premier League’s regulations or the final punishment.

There is no deadline for the new charge other than the conclusion of the current one, although it has been proposed that a second appeal might result in a potentially contentious final decision that is made after the season concludes.

Although it has been speculated that the punishment for the most recent infraction would be a fine rather than another ten-point threat, it might be terrible for Everton’s season if they are issued another points deduction. Other Everton-related news: Jamie Carragher answered.
