NFL Divisional Round: 49ers vs. Packers: Who will score first?

The NFL divisional round features a rematch of one of the NFC’s greatest rivalries as the San Francisco

49ers take on the Green Bay Packers, with plenty of opportunity for fans to get involved.

Jordan Love and Brock Purdy are heading two explosive offenses that the odds makers predict will score

a ton of touchdowns going into their matchup on Saturday. When these teams play on Saturday in Santa

Clara, who is Draft Kings picking to go to the end zone first?

Not surprisingly, DK is leaning towards Christian McCaffrey at +235 to be the first play to score a

touchdown. With 1,459 rushing yards this season, the 27-year-old running back easily dominated the

league. He is predicted to have a great game at home on Saturday after totaling 622 rushing yards with

seven touchdowns and an additional 257 receiving yards with three passing touchdowns. The MVP

front-runner also has the lowest odds to score at any point throughout the game (-370), which is most

likely why.

Despite having a calf issue, McCaffrey’s chances have obviously not been harmed. In addition to enjoying

home-field advantage, San Francisco was awarded a bye week, thus McCaffrey should be primed to

dominate the field come kickoff.

Aaron Jones is a star running back for the Packers, but his odds of winning the game at +900 (9-1) are a

tad lower than those of other players. Throughout the season, Jones battled injuries that limited his

playing time to just 11 games and 656 yards. But he just had an incredible Wild Card game against the

Dallas Cowboys, where he ran for 118 yards and three touchdowns on 21 carries. San Francisco’s defense

will have to study up on Jones over the week if they want to slow him down, as Jones is also listed at -110

to score at any point during Saturday’s game.
