New Orleans Saints Division Rival’s Owner Met with Bill Belichick to Discuss Head Coach Position.
NFL insider Tom Pelissero reports that Bill Belichick and Falcons owner Arthur Blank met to discuss the Atlanta head coaching position. Also, “no deal is imminent. But there is mutual interest, and conversations are ongoing.” After 24 years with the New England Patriots, the organization parted ways with Bill Belichick and hired Jerod Mayo as the team’s head coach. He has eight Super Bowl rings – two as an assistant coach and six as a head coach.
