Brom is “joint hunting” for him.

According to reports, Celtic and Rangers, two of Scotland’s biggest clubs,

are apparently interested in Leeds United attacker Joe Gelhardt.

West Bromwich Albion has also joined the chase.

Gelhardt has had a challenging campaign thus far at Elland Road

due to intense competition and injury issues.

This season, he has only made eight appearances for the

Whites, and both of his league starts came back in August.

On his Patreon page, Alan Nixon claims that West Brom is the most

recent team to show interest in the former England youth international.

Carlos Corberan, the team’s manager, departed Leeds one month

prior to Gelhardt’s arrival in West Yorkshire.

Gelhardt’s salaries are supposedly full, but Leeds, Corberan’s

prospective promotion opponents, are

apparently eager for Gelhardt to go on loan.

The 21-year-old has previously been linked to Celtic and Rangers,

who are also said to be keen. Along

with being listed as an interested party, Plymouth Argyle recently

signed Darko Gyabi, his Leeds teammate.

A transfer away from Elland Road might potentially revive

the forward’s career, which began to develop

in the 2021/22 season under Marcelo Bielsa. Although he

was expected to be with the Leeds team for

many years to come, he quickly dropped down the hierarchy.
