Green Bay Packers Get Concerning Update On Jaire Alexander Injury After Win

After winning, the Green Bay Packers receive worrying news on Jaire Alexander’s injury.

In what was arguably the most unexpected game of Wild Card weekend, the Green Bay Packers crushed the Dallas Cowboys. Although the Packers’ offense was outstanding, their outstanding play on defense was a major factor in their overwhelming victory over Dallas.

Back of the star cornerPrior to the game, Jaire Alexander was being watched for an ankle injury after suffering a strange mishap during practice earlier in the week. He was cleared to play before the game, but regrettably he re-injured his ankle and was unable to continue for the remainder of it.

After the game, head coach Matt LaFleur provided an update that worried Packers fans: Alexander might not be able to participate in their divisional playoff game against the San Francisco 49ers. After the match, LaFleur stated:

“If the game hadn’t been a blowout for the majority of the second half, Alexander wouldn’t have been permitted to rejoin it.”

Alexander was obviously not going to play again after hurting his ankle, especially because the game was not close. However, LaFleur’s remarks are concerning for next week because it is evident that this injury is not insignificant.
