Clement says Rangers working ‘day and night’ to add reinforcements

Rangers are adding reinforcements “day and night,” according to Clement.

In a friendly played on the training field, his team lost 1-0 to Hertha Berlin, and Clement was sent off for dissension.

Rangers manager Philippe Clement is adamant that the team is improving “day and night” to strengthen the roster.

In January, the Ibrox team permitted Sam Lammers to join Utrecht on two loan deals, while they also brought in Fabio Silva from Wolves.

According to a quote from Clement on his team’s official website, “Everyone is working day and night, everybody is working really hard for that.” If you don’t have a lot of money, it’s not the easiest window; you have to be quick and innovative, but everyone is working really hard.

We’re going to keep working hard because that is the reality with these things: Until there is a signature, you can be at the end of the road, but if you don’t have the signature, you are at the beginning of the road again of another story.

Clement was sent off for dissent as his side lost 1-0 to Hertha Berlin in a training-ground friendly in Spain on Saturday.

Rangers will now prepare for the Scottish Cup opener at Dumbarton this weekend when they play FC Copenhagen in another friendly on Tuesday night at Ibrox.

Clement, whose team won the Viaplay Cup last month, stated, “The players have had a heavy load in the last couple of days and have been working hard. We will fly back to Glasgow and then we have the big game against Copenhagen who have been doing really well in the Champions League, so it is a big challenge.”

“I want them to exhibit hunger, enthusiasm, and what both they and the fans want at every game.

“Having this first trophy has increased the desire for more because those are wonderful moments that also strengthen bonds and foster a great sense of synergy amongst players, fans, and each other.”
