BREAKING: Dallas Cowboys Make Risky Decision On Quarterback After Sudden Illness Setback

Dallas Cowboys Make Risky Decision On Quarterback After Sudden Illness Setback.

An hour before their crucial Wild Card round game against the Green Bay Packers, the Dallas Cowboys took a bold gamble. Cooper Rush, the

backup quarterback for the Packers, unexpectedly appeared on the injury list on Friday due to a sickness.

Rush was absent from the Cowboys’ final two practices on Friday and Saturday, according to several reports.

The Cowboys didn’t want the illness to spread to other starting players because it was either serious enough for

him to miss important practice time or it was still contagious.

The Dallas Cowboys make a risky decision at QB.

Rush will be out against the Packers for the Cowboys as Dak Prescott’s backup, according to ESPN’s Ed Werder.

Although Rush missed practice on Friday and Saturday due to an unexpected illness, head coach Mike

McCarthy still believes in Rush more than former San Francisco 49ers first-round choice Trey Lance.

The Cowboys are hoping Rush won’t be necessary. That very well might occur, though, considering the quantity of

NFL quarterback injuries this season.
