On Sunday, the NFL’s Super Wild Card Weekend will feature three matchups:

No. 7 Green Bay Packers at No. 2 Dallas Cowboys (-7.5), 4:30 p.m. ET on Fox;

No. 6 Los Angeles Rams at No. 3 Detroit Lions (-3.5), 8:15 p.m. ET on NBC;

No. 7 Pittsburgh Steelers at No. 2 Buffalo Bills (-10), 1 p.m. ET on CBS

Speaking of late-season momentum, the Packers’ three consecutive season-ending victories allowed

Jordan Love and the team to storm into the playoffs. There were two displays of more than 30 points in

that sample.

With a league-high 37.4 points per game at home this season, the Cowboys are a squad offensively

superior than Green Bay. Dallas surely have the tools necessary to take advantage of the different

weaknesses in the Packers defense, which is expected to be without the erratic Jaire Alexander (ankle)

for another game.

Naturally, there is a lot of juice on the Cowboys money line, and the total has been rising as well. Love

has a wide range of weapons at his disposal to assault, but his tight ends and receivers are all rookies or

second-year players making their postseason debuts. This is the main problem for the first-year starter.

Here, we’re highly confident in a Cowboys victory, and when we combine that with a different total, we

still get a very good pricing.

The Packers vs. Cowboys game is expected to be an ideal prelude to the day’s most intensely contested

game. Given each quarterback’s past relationship with their opponent, the Rams vs. Lions game features

a lot of backstory.

Sean McVay and Ben Johnson, the two offensive masterminds in this game, are both quite accustomed

to being aggressive. Considering the ideal conditions inside the dome, neither is probably going to avoid

that.

There are weaknesses on each squad in the secondary that will surely be addressed. There should be

many splash plays with pass catchers like Jahmyr Gibbs, Cooper Kupp, Puka Nacua, Amon-Ra St.

Brown, and Jameson Williams on the field.

This season, the Over was combined 20-14 in the games between the two teams, with a combined 12-5 in

the relevant home/road splits.

In what will be an emotional matchup, both coaches should give their quarterbacks plenty of

opportunities to show off their skills and accumulate enough points for the Over to win again.
