Sean Dyche issues a decision regarding the £15 million 19-year-old “high-level” Everton talent..

Amidst a “high-level” accusation, Sean Dyche has withheld his judgment over the gifted 19-year-old Youssef Chermiti of Everton.

During the summer, Everton acquired the gifted 19-year-old Portuguese striker Youssef Chermiti from Sporting Lisbon.

Although Everton officially stated that the amount was not disclosed, it is thought that the Toffees paid £15. Sporting was also granted a substantial 12.5% sell-on clause by the Goodison Park team, which was indicative of the quality of player Everton was eager to acquire.

The 6′ 3″ Portugal U19 international signed a four-year contract, but Sean Dyche has only let him play 90 minutes since, choosing to play Beto and Dominic Calvert-Lewin, two players with greater experience.

Interestingly, Chermiti’s height also makes him meet Dyche’s standard requirement for a striker, thus he should be able to claim equally good aerial stats to the two

Before this weekend’s Premier League matchup with Aston Villa, Dyche answered questions from the media.

Too many young players are overexposed in their early years, which kills them in the league.

As Chermiti matures, he can pick up tips from Calvert-Lewin on how to be a successful English football player and eventually replace the Englishman.about Chermiti

“He is progressing nicely. He’s getting used to the toughness and style of the English game, as well as how the Premier League is operating. He’s still just starting off. Everyone asks, “Why aren’t they doing this, why aren’t they doing that?” when you have a boy in for a few pounds. Though he’s only at a high level, he’s still in the development phase.

“That’s what we’re expecting him to accomplish. He’s putting a lot of effort into it, liking it thus far.

Chermiti will have to wait his turn because there are two players ahead of him; it might even be necessary to acquire a loan in order to give him some playing time.

Calvert-Lewin has a lot to teach Chermiti.

It is hardly surprising that he is being cautiously settled in as a young child who has recently arrived from Portugal.
