NFC Wild Card Breakdown: Cowboys vs. Packers.

Since the Saints won’t be making the playoffs for the third consecutive year, this weekend will be stress-free and filled with classic postseason football.

There are many exciting games this weekend, but the Dallas Cowboys versus. Green Bay Packers game caught my attention in particular. There are still some fantastic storylines going into this one, even though my dad is a Cowboys fan and my brother is a Packers fan.

Jordan Love is the first one in line. Even Aaron Rodgers was unable to lead the Packers to the postseason in his final season as a starter. This year, he has succeeded in doing so. Love, who totaled 4,406 yards and 36 touchdowns at the end of the season,

Mike McCarthy’s storyline is another one to follow. Despite leading the Cowboys to three straight 12-5 seasons in his fourth season as head coach, he remains under fire. He might be gone if he doesn’t succeed this year, whether it’s a Super Bowl or an NFC Championship birth. Not to mention that he spent 13 seasons coaching the Packers.

In our society, a coach who has finished 12-5 in three straight seasons is coaching in the postseason to keep his job because he is unable to win the championship.
