Rashid Shaheed and Demario Davis chosen to AP All-Pro team.

The selection of two New Orleans Saints to the Associated Press All-Pro Team was announced earlier today. Linebacker Demario Davis was selected onto the second team, and wide receiver/return specialist Rashid Shaheed was voted onto the first team. The team has at least one All-Pro selection for the seventh straight season.

     

Davis, who turned 35 yesterday, will become just the second player in Saints history to be selected to the All-Pro team five times in a row, after Jahri Evans. 121 tackles, 74 solo, and 6.5 sacks were his total at the end of the season.

Shaheed, who signed with the Saints in 2022 with 46 catches for 719 yards and 5 touchdowns and 339 punt return yards and one touchdown. With a punt return average of 13.6 yards per return, he was ranked third in the NFL and second in the NFC. In addition, he was chosen to start in the Pro Bowl as a return specialist.
