The Dallas Cowboys Won’t Have A 5-Time Pro Bowler At Practice All Week Prior To Their Matchup Against The Green Bay Packers.

According to Jon Machota of The Athletic:

Cowboys coach Mike McCarthy said CB Stephon Gilmore (shoulder) will be in the rehab group. “He’s making really good progress.”

He’s not expected to do anything in practice until Saturday LG Tyler Smith (foot) will be limited today

The Dallas Cowboys secured the #2 seed in the NFC on Sunday by winning their 26th NFC East championship, but there were worries that the victory came at a cost.

Stephon Gilmore, an experienced cornerback for Dallas who has excelled in the second part of the season, had a shoulder injury. At first, the injury did not appear to be serious, especially since the playoffs were just one week away.

Fortunately for Dallas’ defence, Gilmore’s shoulder did not appear to have any serious injury, according to the MRI.

While he hasn’t practiced this week, it seems likely that he isn’t as close to 100% as first believed.

Several reports have him ready for their match on Sunday.
