Jhon Duran needs Aston Villa ‘reality check’ amid Villa Park transfer exit speculation.

Jhon Duran needs Aston Villa ‘reality check’ amid Villa Park transfer exit speculation.

On Saturday, January 6, The Daily Mail said on its website that Villa is accepting bids for the Colombian international in the event that they are able to find a worthy substitute, with AC Milan, one of Italy’s biggest clubs, showing interest in acquiring him. It further stated that the 20-year-old forward has been dissatisfied with his lack of opportunities this season and that he and the Villans manager haven’t always “saw eye to eye” throughout their time together at Villa Park.

Bardell says that he doesn’t see why Duran would be upset because he’s improving and receiving “valuable experience,” and that leaving the Chicago Fire in the Major League Soccer in January 2023 has been “brilliant” for him.

Bardell stated exclusively to Villa News, “I believe there have been training-related issues going on behind the scenes.” I hesitate to use the word attitude because it’s more important to meet Emery’s application standards.

It goes without saying that a few stories have been pushed in recent weeks. In my view, the Milan narrative sounds a bit like an agent throwing the feelers and story out there.Nothing substantial, in my opinion, has happened with Milan and Jhon Duran as of yet.

“Duran is a young striker playing for a fantastic manager at a Premier League-winning team, and he’s second choice to another excellent striker.” His development is progressing really nicely, in my opinion.

“He’s not starting as many games as he would like, but I can’t see why he would expect that at this stage of his development. It feels a little bit reading between the lines like he’s almost trying to run before he can walk. He’s in a really good space with Villa, playing at a club that’s doing really well and he’s getting minutes.

“If he is frustrated, I don’t really understand that because he’s coming on and impacting games and gaining valuable experience. If I were him or someone around him, I’d be really wary about moving because Villa have invested a lot of money in him, he was a player that they tracked for a long time.

“Emery was happy to sign the player, even though it wasn’t an Emery signing, and he was ready to collaborate with him.” I almost believe that he needs to take a closer look at where he is in his development and realign his objectives.

“I think this has been a great transfer for him and has worked out well for Villa as well. Players, in my opinion, occasionally desire to run before they can walk. In unrelated Aston Villa news, a broadcaster is pushing Emery to pay £10.7 million this month to sign a friend of a Villa star.
