Everton told exactly why £15k-a-week target is the ‘perfect player’ for Sean Dyche

Everton is expected to rely heavily on loans during the January transfer window in an effort to stay within the Premier League’s budgetary constraints.

One name that has come to mind is Hannibal Mejbri, a 20-year-old midfielder who is linked to Manchester United along with Scott McTominay. Mejbri may be just what Sean Dyche needs.

Everton could be able to help the Tunisia international, who has had a breakout year for United, as he just needs more playing time. Everton has now been informed of everything they may expect from Hannibal’s arrival.

Hannibal Mejbri could be perfect for Sean Dyche

Steven Railston, a reporter for the MEN who covers United, explained to Everton why Hannibal is the perfect fit for the midfield at Goodison Park in an interview with the Liverpool Echo.

“His dedication to the uniform is unquestionable, and he plays riskily, which has won over fans.” He has quality, yet he’s not scared to ‘put himself about.’ Railson went on to give more evidence of Hannibal’s perfection.

“Hannibal is the perfect player for Sean Dyche because he’ll run himself into the ground each game. His running is relentless and when he started against Burnley at Turf Moor in September, he clocked up 12.9 kilometres, a record for a United player since they began gathering the data in 2019.”

Finally, the chances of Hannibal joining Everton were evaluated by Railston.

“United often have a preference to send players to clubs throughout the English pyramid because they believe that will prepare them better to break into the first team at Old Trafford, but whether Everton would be a more suitable destination hinges on the game time he receives.

“It seems like the decision could come down to the player, but I’d personally prefer him to join Everton to prove himself in the Premier League, which is a more challenging division than La Liga.”

Hannibal loan to Everton works out for everyone

If Dyche brings Hannibal on for the balance of the season, he might blow up under his tutelage. Although the 20-year-old has considerable technical skill, it isn’t his strongest suit. In Dyche’s lineup, a midfielder must be able to run and be tough and smart, which Hannibal has in spades.

Even though his initial loan could only be for six months, if he comes on loan, Everton might be able to purchase him the following summer. He’s already demonstrated his ability to play Premier League football, and he would be a valuable addition to our team come January and possibly beyond.
