Analyst Says Only 1 NFC Team Is Better Than The Cowboys

The Dallas Cowboys have won 12 games throughout the regular season for the third consecutive year, and they have secured the second seed in the NFC this year.

This team might be the best they have had since their 1990s glory days, thus anything less than a Super Bowl berth will probably qualify this season as a success.

The San Francisco 49ers, Dallas’ longtime rivals, have eliminated Dallas early from the playoffs in each of the last two seasons.

The 49ers have the top seed in the conference, and Emmanuel Acho said on FS1’s “Speak” that they’re the one team in the NFC that is still better than the Cowboys

In Week 5 of this season, the Cowboys had a chance to send a message that they were perhaps the best team in the conference, but their trip to San Francisco that weekend resulted in a 42-10 blowout loss.

In that game, quarterback Dak Prescott, who has put together his best season ever, threw three interceptions in what may have been his worst game ever as a pro.

Although the Cowboys have shown flashes of dominance this season, defeats to the Niners, Philadelphia Eagles, Buffalo Bills, and Miami Dolphins have weakened their resolve.

They haven’t advanced to the NFC Championship Game since winning the championship in 1995, so they’ll always have to contend with the persistent doubts about their ability to win a pivotal game and Prescott’s readiness to perform at his best.
