Everton youngster taken to hospital as club await further news on injury – ‘it’s horrible to see’
Stanley Mills, a winger for Everton, may have had a catastrophic injury while on loan at Oxford United.
In order to obtain regular senior experience, the 20-year-old joined the League One team at the beginning of the season. Mills has made 27 appearances for Oxford during their playoff run, contributing seven assists and one goal.
The son of former England player Danny Mills, there are concerns that Mills might miss the rest of the season due to injury. He was helped off the field during Oxford’s 6-2 FA Cup loss to Coventry City last weekend after tripping during a late first-half shooting attempt. After receiving care for a few minutes on the field, Mills was transported to the hospital.
