Aston Villa’s Philippe Coutinho in fresh transfer claim amid Lionel Messi reunion.

Birmingham’s Aston Villa newsThe alleged interest in Philippe Coutinho is brought to you live.

After a challenging period in Qatar, midfielder Philippe Coutinho of Aston Villa is apparently drawing interest from the Major

League Soccer.

At Al-Duhail, the 31-year-old is currently on a season-long loan. At Villa Park, Coutinho found it difficult to maintain his

Liverpool level of play and earn a spot in Unai Emery’s team.

He has only made six league starts since moving to Doha, and he has only played 419 minutes overall in the Qatar Stars League.

The Spanish daily AS claims that he might leave the team due to his small contribution.

It is claimed he has interest from Inter Miami and LA Galaxy. A reunion with Lionel Messi could be on the cards for Coutinho

at Miami after the pair spent years playing together at Barcelona.

However, it remains to be seen whether an approach will be made to Villa and whether he will make another loan move.

Manager Unai Emery earlier stated, “Philippe is a very good person and always we have to respect him as a person, first and

foremost,” in reference to the decision to loan Coutinho. Second, he has demonstrated exceptionally high levels of play.

“He has not been consistent because of injuries and we decided with him speaking and agreeing with him to try that if something is good for him, and good for the club, and for the squad, we can let him leave. “Then he can discover his successful play as a player.”
