In order to make room on the roster for practice squad possibilities, several teams, especially ones whose three gameday elevates are about to expire, have chosen to shift injured players to injured reserve. With regard to the Broncos, McGlinchey’s first season in the Mile High City will finish early.

The 28-year-old, who signed a five-year, $87.5MM contract, was a member of a redesigned offensive line that failed to generate the expected offensive comeback. McGlinchey, who was manning his typical right tackle position, was given an overall grade of 67.5 after PFF reported that he had surrendered eight sacks and 49 pressures.

The Giants will have Pinnock on the roster for at least one more season, but they will have an intriguing decision to make regarding Xavier McKinney’s future.

The latter will undoubtedly continue to be an essential part of New York’s secondary through the end of his rookie deal, which is scheduled to expire after the 2024 season.

Throughout more than 1,000 defensive snaps this season, Pinnock has racked up 85 tackles, two interceptions (including a 102-yard pick-six), six pass deflections, and two forced fumbles. Next autumn, he will desperately need to regain his health and play at the same level as in 2023.
