Dallas Cowboys Tony Pollard Gives Candid Take On His 2023 Season.

The NFC East championship and a two-seed in the conference are both getting closer for the Dallas Cowboys.

Even though the squad has been performing well, Tony Pollard, the running back, has not had a good year. Pollard provided a very direct remark when questioned about his performance this week during an interview.

Dallas Cowboys Tony Pollard On 2023 Season.

This season, Pollard has gained 935 yards and five touchdowns with rushes. The organization was expecting him to burst into a full-time starter role this season, even though he still had the potential to surpass 1,000 yards. Pollard is aware of his failure to meet expectations.

I had assumed that this year would be better for me than it has been. With everything in front of us, I couldn’t be more satisfied with where we are in the playoffs and rankings. Simply attempting to get more at-bats at the plate, in my opinion. Get the offensive line extra practice and gain insight into the defense’s playmaking and rhythm.

“I hold myself to a higher standard. I try to be my hardest critic and my hardest judge before anybody else can. So I’m always hard on myself.”

Pollard knows that he has struggled and believes that he can continue to improve with more reps.

Winning Helps

Pollard and supporters alike are feeling better about the season because the club is still winning in spite of the poor performance. Although they still need to win, securing the second seed in the conference will give them a home game. This team has performed admirably at home and mediocrely away. Playing at home is a tremendous plus, and Dallas will be on the 49ers’ route to the Super Bowl if they pull off an upset.

Could this be the Dallas Cowboys’ year at last? They only need to complete the job since they are in the best position they have been in while.
