Cowboys’ Micah Parsons still believes in Dalvin Cook following Jets release.
As a running threat, Dalvin Cook still has a lot to give, according to Micah Parsons of the Dallas Cowboys.
During his 15-game stay with the New York Jets this season, running back Dalvin Cook did not make an impression. However, linebacker Michal Parsons of the Dallas Cowboys places more blame for the Jets’ failing marriage than on Cook, demonstrating his continued faith in the player.
“Dalvin wants to be a member of a playoff team. When Dalvin Cook entered a system, they were unsure of how best to highlight him. Through the X account of B/R Gridiron, Parsons stated on his podcast, The Edge with Micah Parsons, “I think it was more of the namesake.”
Let the Cowboys’ Parsons tell it, the Jets signed Cook in the offseason with no plan. Furthermore, star back Breece Hall’s remarkable recovery from a major injury last season lessened the need to have Cook on the roster.
“Obviously Breece Hall came back well off the ACL injury and they just felt like Breece was their long term guy, so they didn’t utilize (Cook). And Dalvin’s just looking at opportunities to display his talents.
Cook still has plenty of gas left
Cook and the Jets agreed to split ways at the start of the new year, which made it possible for the former Minnesota Viking to rejoin a playoff team. Cook signed a contract on Thursday with the Baltimore Ravens, who are the top-seeded team in the AFC.
It’s easy to conclude that the Cowboys star is happy with the transfer to the Ravens, even though the news was released before to Parsons’ show.
“Dalvin has the potential to be a very good back,” Additionally, I believe he would help any playoff team. He’s been an excellent back forever. That guy has always been Dalvin.
