Cowboys Cut WR After Signing La’el Collins

Cowboys Cut WR After Signing La’el Collins

As the Dallas Cowboys prepare for the postseason, they intend to make some adjustments.

The majority of the guys on the practice squad often won’t play this season.

However, the Cowboys are giving certain players who might be useful in the postseason a chance to join their practice squad.

The Cowboys are cutting wide receiver Martavis Bryant from the practice squad, according Ari Meirov.

To make room for offensive lineman La’el Collins, they took that action.

Bryant was signed by the Cowboys earlier in the season after not playing in the NFL for years.

His talent was undeniable, but he had some off-field concerns that came with him.

With Dallas stacked at wide receiver, Bryant was never able to find himself elevated to the active roster.

The Cowboys have plenty of issues on their line, so adding one of their former players is a nice depth move.

One of Dallas’s main disadvantages is the right tackle position.

Collins was primarily a right tackle for the six years he played for the Cowboys.

This appears to be more of a depth signing for the time being than Collins vying for a starting position.

This weekend holds a huge potential for Dallas.

With a victory over the Washington Commanders, they will secure the second seed in the playoffs and be declared NFC East champions.
