Tyreek Hill hits out at ‘thug’ Colin Cowherd after the Fox Sports analyst blasted ‘fake’ Miami Dolphins for ’23 years of nothing remarkable’, despite Christmas Eve win over the Cowboys

Tyreek Hill, a player for the Miami Dolphins, snapped at Colin Cowherd for disparaging his team.

The Fox Sports anchor, who had earlier predicted Dallas would “blow them out,” threw cold water on the Dolphins’ 22–20 victory over the Cowboys.

In addition, Cowherd downplayed Miami’s prospects of making the playoffs by claiming the team hadn’t accomplished anything “remarkable” to justify the respect the Dolphins have been demanding.

During his appearance on “The Herd,” Cowherd declared, “It’s not my job to give you respect.” “I have a duty to be truthful.” It’s your only playoff victory in 23 years.

Retaliating on social media, Hill quote-tweeted a post that included the video of Cowherd’s comments.

‘What sport has this thug played again,’ Hill asked, alongside an upside-down smiling face emoji.

Miami’s Christmas Eve win over the Cowboys set up a battle for the AFC’s top seed against the 12-3 Baltimore Ravens on New Year’s Eve.

But despite the Dolphins having the opportunity to enter 2024 as the top team in the AFC, Cowherd remained unconvinced of Miami’s chances in the postseason, stating its previous record.

’23 years is the last time you won a playoff game, 23 years of nothing remarkable,’ Cowherd said Wednesday.

‘This past weekend you didn’t win a Pulitzer, i.e. a Super Bowl. You didn’t even win an award, i.e. a playoff game. You beat a Dallas team that is talented but strangely bad on the road.

‘Miami is constantly seeking validation and respect. “Let’s give us some credit, Colin.” That’s Visa, MasterCard. That’s not my job to give you respect, it’s my job to be honest.

His reaction came just days after he predicted ‘fake’ Miami would suffer a heavy defeat to the Cowboys.

‘I’ve had my doubts about Miami all season long,’ Cowherd said on December 22, two days before the game. ‘The Dolphins are a perfect representation of Miami. They’re fun, they’re exciting, they’re flashy and a little fake. … Miami is a lot of fake tough guy. Fake Gucci bag.’

He added: ‘I think Dallas is going to blow them out.’

And it’s clear that Cowherd’s unimpressed reaction to the Dolphins’ best win of the season hit a nerve with Hill.

Hill stated he was up to the task as the crucial game against the Ravens drew near.

Thus, Hill thought that playing the Ravens would be an excellent test.

I’m excited about it. They are a very strong team with an excellent defense. I’m going to enjoy myself.

We cannot approach any matchup carelessly. It will therefore be awesome. I hope it doesn’t rain.

On Christmas Day, Baltimore humiliated the San Francisco 49ers 33-19 in what could have been a Super Bowl dress rehearsal.

Following their thrashing, the Ravens will want to secure the AFC No. 1 seed when they play the Dolphins in Week 17.
