Cowboys’ Micah Parsons begs refs to ‘free’ him after scathing remarks

In Week 16 of the 2023 NFL season, Micah Parsons and the Dallas Cowboys encountered a significant challenge.

In Miami, they faced Tua Tagovailoa and the Miami Dolphins. With a victory, Dallas had the opportunity to firmly establish themselves as the NFC’s second seed. On Christmas Eve, though, they were defeated, falling short 22–20.

There were some dubious calls made during the game. A roughing the passer flag on Parsons was one of the disputed calls.

Furthermore, there were a few missed holding calls on the Cowboys star during the game.

And Parsons went off on these calls after the game. On Monday, though, he still had something to say. He took to Instagram with a plea for NFL referees.

Micah Parsons went off on officials after Cowboys loss vs. Dolphins

Parsons tried his best to reach Tagovailoa on Sunday night. Nevertheless, he was given credit for half a sack despite finishing the game with seven total tackles. The Cowboys star let the world know how he felt about these calls after the game.

The things that are called for and the roles that we are assigned to are astounding. The Dallas Cowboys star told the media on Christmas Eve, “We simply need to learn how to face the challenges. We live in a world full of BS, even though I am aware of it. The star is affixed to our helmet. It is difficult to play defense.

Parsons claimed the officials informed him that he planned to penalize Tagovailoa for hitting him during his roughing the passer call. The Cowboys player refuted this, saying his goal was just to fire the Dolphins signal-caller. It’s not as though the hit came late. Not that I’m getting up from my feet. I didn’t take the initiative. Parsons remarked, “I don’t know how you make that call.”

Watching how things play out in Week 17, when Micah Parsons and the Cowboys play another important game, will be interesting. In a game that might have a significant impact on the NFC playoff seeding, Dallas plays the Detroit Lions, who recently earned their first division championship in thirty years.
