Analyst Makes A Bold Prediction About Upcoming Cowboys Game.
The Dallas Cowboys were on course to win the NFC East and possibly even the conference’s top seed.
Unfortunately, those hopes have all but vanished after consecutive road losses to the Miami Dolphins and Buffalo Bills.
That doesn’t mean they can’t still have a successful season and return to their winning ways, though.
In fact, NFL analyst Craig Carton is rather optimistic that the Cowboys will recover and put on another outstanding offensive display in their upcoming game, which is against the Detroit Lions.
Talking on “The Carton Show,” Carton showed that he’s not as high on the NFC North champions, predicting they’re in for a wake-up call and a bit of a let-down, which is normal after celebrating their first divisional title in three decades.
In light of this, Carton thinks the Cowboys will score 40 points against the Lions and return to their previous level of dominance at home.
The Cowboys are by far the best home team in the league, but they only score half as many points away from
AT&T Stadium as they do at home because they can’t seem to establish the same offensive rhythm away from the stadium.
In the final two weeks of the regular season, Mike McCarthy’s squad must regroup after two tough losses in order to gain some momentum. If they don’t play at home, it may be a big problem come playoff time.
