Saints quarterback Derek Carr gifts his wide receivers custom diamond-encrusted chains and Rolexes from New Jersey renowned jeweler for Christmas

Derek Carr, the quarterback for the New Orleans Saints, did not skimp on Christmas gift-giving for his wide receivers.

Carr is lavishing on buying his catchers personalized chains and Rolex watches from famed Al the Jeweler of Labelle Jewelry in Totowa, New Jersey, according to a Sunday TMZ article.

Some reportedly received chains, while others reportedly received iced-out watches, including Chris Olave and Rashid Shaheed.

There are rumors that Michael Thomas is getting a gift as well. Carr’s team allegedly withheld the nature of the present from him.

Al and Carr have been in business together for a long time. Carr got Maxx Crosby and Davante Adams personalized pendants from Al when he departed the Los Vegas Raiders last season. The pendants have their numbers on them.

The pricey accessories were not limited to the teammates. The care for Carr’s family also included giving them each a piece of an iced-out puzzle that fits together to form a larger piece.

Carr is the latest NFL player to give pricey gifts to teammates as a way of saying thank you for their hard work on the field.

Both quarterbacks Trevor Lawrence of the Jaguars and Patrick Mahomes of the Chiefs gave personalized golf carts as gifts to their offensive linemen.

Conversely, Russell Wilson, the quarterback for the Denver Broncos, gave his offensive linemen Louis Vuitton bags for Christmas.

The Saints are second in the NFC South with a record of 7-8 thus far this season. Carr and his teammates were left out of a number of teams who had games on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, so they will celebrate the holidays at home.

The Bucs on January 31 and the Falcons on January 7 are New Orleans’ final two games of the season.
