Saints’ Cam Jordan tries to wake up team with NSFW reaction to Week 16 loss vs Rams

Longtime supporters and seasoned players are furious about the New Orleans Saints’ humiliating loss to the Los Angeles Rams on Thursday Night Football.

After the appalling performance that has the team’s hopes of making the playoffs in jeopardy, veteran defensive lineman and captain of the Saints Cam Jordan chastised his colleagues.

“We are the individuals that we are. Two more games remain. Jordan reportedly told ESPN’s Katherine Terrell after the game, “There’s no sugarcoating this shit. It’s frustrating to be in this position.” We just need to prevail; I don’t know what the chances are right now. Ultimately, we must prevail; there are no justifications.

At 7-8, the Saints hold the ninth spot in the NFC playoff race heading into the weekend. NFL.com says their current chance to make the playoffs is 22%.

“We came into this game wanting to be aggressive. Knowing the type of team and the offense that we were playing, kicking field goals wasn’t going to be the way to go and try to win this game,” said Saints head coach Dennis Allen after the defeat.

The Saints offense turned the ball over on downs three times during the game, so Chris Olave’s return was insufficient to ignite the offense.

Currently ranked 24th out of 32 teams in the NFL, the Saints have converted on fourth down on just 44% of their attempts.

As a team, we have promise. I believe we’re among the greatest teams in the league when we play the proper way,” Jordan continued. “We can proceed with anyone once we clear the path and present our best self.”
