Pundit can’t believe actions of Aston Villa player, could have ‘Massive’ ramifications

BBC Sport pundit slams Boubacar Kamara for actions in Aston Villa win vs Brentford

Alan Hutton says midfielder Boubacar Kamara of Aston Villa shouldn’t be upset over being sent off in the team’s 2-1 victory over Brentford.

At the Gtech Community Stadium on Sunday, December 17, during stoppage time, Kamara was sent off for pushing Yehor Yarmoliuk in the face.

The Football Association has taken measures against both teams for not controlling their players during a heated match that also saw Brentford’s Ben Mee sent off.

Due to the midfielder’s impact this season, Hutton thinks Villa may have issues as France international Kamara serves his suspension.

Hutton told Villa News, “You can’t do that. He raised his hands.”For me, it’s as easy as that.

There’s some pushing and shoving and some back and forth, but you can usually get away with it.

But you always face the risk of being sent off as soon as you raise your hand, which is how it appeared to me.

It wasn’t ideal, especially for Kamara, who I believe plays a major role in what Aston Villa does. It wasn’t terrific. He will be sorely missed.

Kamara, who has started 16 of Villa’s 17 games this year, will now miss their upcoming games against Burnley, Sheffield United, and Manchester United.

Villa’s victory over Brentford, their third straight in the top division, puts them third in the Premier League heading into their home game against the Blades on Friday, December 22.
