“I’m told…” – Gers insider drops striker transfer news

Rangers transfer update as Heart and Hand give clarity on striker speculation

Some believed that, given the struggles of the summer additions, Alfredo Morelos should have never been cut loose from the Rangers and that a return was due.

The announcement of the 27-year-old Colombian’s Santos release clause only served to intensify calls for a January transfer.

Alfredo Morelos return to Rangers clarified

David Edgar has clearly been able to get behind the scenes access while posting on X amid the current speculation during a hectic pre-match build-up.

“Reports regarding Morelos are false, I’ve been assured. Club has no interest.

Perhaps it is overly dramatic, but there is a supporter base that would have welcomed a return of the well-known knee slide to the Ibrox field.

Sadly, as Philippe Clement searches for more powerful and exciting players, Alfredo Morelos just doesn’t appear to have enough room on the Rangers roster.

With just over 75 minutes of game time since leaving Glasgow, it’s safe to say that the grass has definitely not been greener on the other side for someone who was once valued at £20m by the club.

Although Kemar Roofe is rarely available and Cyriel Dessers may have had a rough start, the Gers coach has other choices if he gets desperate.

Alfredo Morelos went on for a purpose and will continue to pursue large salaries. He wouldn’t take a ridiculous pay-as-you-play contract from the Rangers.

It’s important to keep in mind that, despite all of his achievements in the Europa League, we didn’t exactly win a ton of trophies at home when he was running the team.

It’s time for the supporters to move on from El Bufalo as the team has.
