Chris Olave progresses from ankle injury as he participates in walkthrough for Saints
Prior to this week, Dennis Allen stated he anticipated Chris Olave to be able to contribute to some practice work.
And for the session on Tuesday, it proved to be the case.
The wide receiver for the New Orleans Saints participated just somewhat in the team’s practice session prior to
The game against the Los Angeles Rams on Thursday. Olave made his comeback in the session, at least
some ability following five practices missed due to a sickness and ankle injury.
He missed last Sunday’s win over the New York Giants because of an ankle injury.
The Saints decided to only hold walkthroughs this week because they’re facing a short turnaround against the Rams.
Though Olave returned as a limited participant, the Saints were still without tackle
Safety Lonnie Johnson (knee), defensive end Isaiah Foskey (quad), and Ryan Ramczyk (knee).
Cam Jordan (ankle), Carl Granderson (shoulder), and Payton Turner (toe) were the defensive ends that were
Olave and running back Kendre Miller (ankle) are also limited.
Tuesday’s practice also signified Miller’s comeback. Miller is a third-round rookie who has missed
the previous five games due to a problem with their ankle.
