Arsenal’s next five fixtures compared to Liverpool, Man City and Aston Villa after Brighton win

After defeating Brighton 2-0, Arsenal has risen to the top of the Premier League standings, and Liverpool will play Manchester United later evening.

Arsenal defeated Brighton 2-0 on Sunday afternoon to continue their Premier League home undefeated streak. The Gunners’ previous Premier League loss occurred at Emirates Stadium in May, when Roberto De Zerbi’s team triumphed 3-0.

This time, Mikel Arteta’s team controlled the match against the Seagulls and eventually took the lead when Gabriel Jesus headed in a corner kick. Shortly before the final siren, Kai Havertz calmly finished into the back of the net to seal the victory.

Manchester City dropped more points in the title race earlier this weekend, drawing 2-2 against Crystal Palace at the Etihad Stadium. Meanwhile, Aston Villa came from behind to beat Brentford whilst Liverpool dropped down to second in the table after drawing 0-0 against Manchester United at Anfield.

So, football London has taken a look at Arsenal’s next five fixtures compared to their title rivals…
