Luiz is reportedly Arsenal’s top target for 2024, but according to sports Insider, Villa currently values him at £100 million. Nevertheless, the sports website states that Villa will turn down any bid for their star player in January.
Sources have told the website that Villa are ‘adamant’ that they will not sell Luiz in January. Arsenal could turn their attention to former Wolves star Ruben Neves in January instead.
Newcastle United are also believed to be in the race for Neves, as they are looking for a replacement for Sandro Tonali, who is serving a lengthy football ban for breaching betting regulations.
