John Bennett informs Rangers stockholders of the quantity that Clement’s cash pledge requires.

John Bennett has shared his unwavering strategy to make Rangers fans’ dreams come true and pledged that the team WILL break even.

At the club’s annual general meeting, the chairman assured the shareholders that they would never go back to the difficult times of 2012.

He will eliminate the £10.5 million loss from the previous year without taking player trade into account.

financial which showed a net loss of £4.1m and a higher wage bill than Celtic topped the agenda.

But an unbowed Bennett – who recently roared the club will become serial winners once more – has urged shareholders and supporters alike to keep a close eye on their losses and how they will be wiped out in the coming years.

Addressing the club’s AGM, Bennett also said there will be money for Philippe Clement to spend.

He said: “This club lost £10.5m last year pre player trading, that’s a number that needs to go away and you should keep an eye on that number. That £10.5m needs to become zero.

He insisted the manager will have have money to spend in the forthcoming windows – despite the money wasted by Michael Beale.

Bennett added: “It will not cause us any problems like we suffered 10 years ago. That’s over.

I wouldn’ worry about our summer spend and what Philippe wants to do. I want our fans to know it’s a process.

“It’s not about backing an individual any more. Please rest assured the summer spend will have no bearing on where we want to take this club.”
