Leeds United is set For £7 Million Star To Replace Wantaway Attacker.

Several Premier League teams are interested in Leeds United star

Wilfried Gnonto in January, and the team has already decided on a

replacement for the sought Italian.

LeedsUnder the summer transfer window, Gnonto submitted a transfer

request as the Peacocks were demoted back to the Championship.

Although Everton was rumored to be eager to sign him, a deal never materialized.

However, it has been rumored in recent weeks that the Toffees are determined

to sign Gnonto and would launch a new bid for the winger when the

winter transfer market opens in a few weeks.

This season at Elland Road, Gnonto’s playing time has been scarce

for Leeds; he has only made ten appearances and scored one goal.

If Leeds are promoted back to the Premier League, Gonzonto may

choose to remain with the Yorkshire club for the whole of the

season, according to a story published by journalist Ben Jacobs on Wednesday night.

Leeds United is reportedly monitoring Fenerbahce winger Ryan

Kent, who is anticipated to become available for loan in January, according

to a recent TeamTalk article. The source also states that Leeds and

top-tier team Bournemouth would compete for his signature.

This season, the Turkish team has fielded 14 players across all

competitions, but the former Rangers attacker has only managed to record one goal and two assists.

During Steven Gerrard’s tenure as the dugout, Kent went to Ibrox in

2019 for a fee of £7 million. However, he departed the Scottish team

for free in the summer to join Fenerbahce. The 27-year-old is now

eager to go on loan for the remainder of the season from the Turkish powerhouses.

If these reports are accurate, Leeds United appears to be getting ready

to let go of the former FC Zurich player when the winter transfer window

opens, and they have Kent lined up to take his place.

Still, this might be dangerous. Since Gnonto is a better player than

Kent, Daniel Farke may not have enough depth for his wide players in

the second half of the season if the Italian leaves.
